Dress for Success Indianapolis depends 100% on the generosity of individuals in the community, as well as corporate donors, in order to provide transformative experiences to women who are working hard to change their lives.

While the in-kind donations of clothing and the thousands of hours of volunteer support are critical, financial contributions enable us to pay for facility expenses such as rent and phone service.

Each Dress for Success affiliate is able to keep its donations local, and Dress for Success Indianapolis is no exception; every dollar donated stays in Indianapolis. When you contribute to Dress for Success Indianapolis, you make an investment, not only in the lives of the women we serve, but in the lives of their families and our community as well. You, too, will be part of the hope, encouragement and transformation our women experience on their journeys to self-sufficiency.

NEW! Gifts of Stock and Securities
Giving stocks, bonds or other securities allows you to support Dress for Success (DFS) Indianapolis      while potentially realizing significant tax benefits.
If you own appreciated securities (stocks, bonds or mutual funds held by you for more than one year), donating them to DFS Indianapolis may allow you to potentially reduce or potentially avoid more capital gains taxes and potentially claim a federal income tax charitable deduction.

You can also designate DFS as the beneficiary of your securities. Please contact your broker for more information about this simple way to support DFS. This type of gift can be especially appealing if you are holding shares that have appreciated significantly in value but yield a low dividend.

Due to privacy concerns, Raymond James will not identify you when notifying us about your stock donation to DFS. In order for us to send your tax receipt letter in a timely fashion and confirm that your stock was transferred, you must notify our office directly of your donation.
