DESCRIPTION:Beacon of Hope Crisis Center is a Christ-centered organization empowering victims of domestic violence and sexual assault to become self-sufficient by providing safety\, education\, and support. The program serves ALL individuals and families facing domestic violence and/or sexual assault crises regardless of religion\, race\, color\, sex\, age\, sexual orientation\, gender identity or gender expression\, marital status\, national origin\, language capacity\, or ability. The crisis center offers these services: \nCrisis Call Team \nCriminal Justice Program \nEconomic Sustainability Program \nFoster Pet Program \nPurple Sneakers Program \nThis center also provides opportunities to help in the following ways: \nCrisis Call Intervention Specialists- Aid their advocacy team in fielding\nand responding to our crisis line. \nFoster Pet Families -Temporarily provide care and shelter to pets of families leaving domestic violence situations. \nOutreach and Programming Internships -Internship opportunities provide real world experience with non-profits while supporting a great cause. \nGET INVOLVED- They accept financial and in-kind donations to\nhelp support individuals and families in their\ntransition to life without domestic violence and/or sexual assault.

The role of the Development Manager is to organize and execute fundraising efforts vital for EmployIndy in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner.
