I work both the left and right side of my brain and find it very gratifying to be able to bring animation, characters, and superheroes to life. My daughter and I love to make costumes and attend Comic Cons.
Plus, Halloween is my favorite holiday. The more realistic and theatrical the costume the better!

Best career advice you ever received?
Have a plan and strategy of where you want to go but always be flexible and open to possibilities. I am currently working in my back-up plan as an engineer and have been here 18 years and love it. Instead of making a difference as a doctor, I am making a difference by helping to feed the world.

Why is giving back important to you?
Had it not been for the support of my friends, family, and community I would not be where I am today. I am a success because it was the community that always believed in me. It was the community that helped me to excel in school, it was the community that provided me guidance and mentorship and at times it was the community that helped to put the clothes on my back and food on the table. Ultimately, it was the community that help me through college and changed the course of my life and the lives of those around me.
