“Elevate” is this year’s theme. What does elevate mean to you, and how are you living it out right now?
To me, elevate means taking something, whether it’s an idea, a project, or a community, and making it stronger, better, and more impactful. I am currently completing my degree in Public Health, and I plan to use it to uplift communities, help them thrive, grow stronger, and achieve improved health outcomes.
Describe a moment when you stepped into a new level of confidence or growth?
A moment of significant growth for me was stepping into my role as Talent Connection Manager. In this position, I recognized my own confidence and readiness to take on new challenges. The role allowed me to stretch my skills, trust my judgment, and embrace opportunities I hadn’t before.
What empowerment advice would you give a woman who’s ready to take her next step?
If I could offer advice to a woman, it would be: trust yourself, trust your gut, and never betray yourself. Your instincts, your ideas, and your choices are your greatest guides. Never betray your own truth.
What brings you the most joy or energy outside of your work?
Hanging out with my niece and cozying up with my snacks and my cats at home.
Tell us about any unique skills, talents, or interesting hobbies.
One of my unique skills is creating a safe space where people trust and share openly with me. One of my interesting hobbies is frequenting estate sales and looking for vintage handbags.
