On Friday, September 5, 2014, Dress for Success Indianapolis and PNC Bank presented the 12th annual Stepping Out In Style fundraising event in downtown Indianapolis at the JW Marriott!
It was a night of high fashion, great food, critical fundraising and loads of fun! The evening included a cocktail reception sponsored by Bedel Financial Consulting, Inc., dinner, fashion show and an after party sponsored by Citizens Energy Group. Artwork for this year’s event was created by Heather Stamanov.
The Bedel Financial Consulting, Inc. cocktail reception began at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner, fashion show and the Citizens Energy Group after party. During the cocktail reception, guests could purchase tickets for the Grand Prize Drawing, bid on fabulous items through the Mainstreet silent auction, and try their hand at the Diamond Dig, sponsored by Aronstam Fine Jewelers! Guests then joined us at the after party to visit with friends and meet our models, artist and sponsors for the evening.
Dress for Success Indianapolis welcomed community leaders and two of our PWG members as models to the stage for a high-energy fashion show. They wore unique clothing from upscale local boutiques and walked the catwalk escorted by esteemed members of the Indianapolis Fire Department.
Connie Bond Stuart, PNC Bank Regional President, graced the runway this year as our Honorary Chair, while Julia Moffitt from WTHR – Channel 13 returned as our emcee for the evening. Denny Sponsel, President of RJE Business Interiors, also returned as our Match Sponsor and will challenge our guests to raise more money than ever before to reach our $200,000+ fundraising goal.
