Dress for Success Indianapolis Indianapolis Celebrates its 20th Stepping Out In Style Fashion Fundraiser
Local nonprofit partners with community leaders to raise funds to help women excel at work and in life.
INDIANAPOLIS—On Friday, September 16, 2022, Dress for Success Indianapolis will present the 20th annual Stepping Out In Style fundraising event in downtown Indianapolis at the JW Marriott!
Women endured tremendous economic loss during the pandemic. Dress for Success Indianapolis and a cast of powerful local women will come together to raise critical funds to get women back to work.
Stepping Out In Style is a night of high fashion, great food, critical fundraising, and loads of fun! The event kicks off with a cocktail reception powered by AES Indiana and features Indy’s premier Diamond Dig sponsored by Aronstam Fine Jewelers and a Wine Pull sponsored by Bedel Financial Consulting, Inc., followed by dinner, a fashion show featuring local boutiques, and an after party sponsored by Relocation Strategies.
This year, mother-daughter duo Deborah Oatts and Nadina Edwards, Nubian Construction will chair the organization’s Pearl Society. Melissa St. John, CEO, Relocation Strategies and Nichole Wilson, Vice President of Community Health Operation, IU Health will chair the Executive Leadership Team. Cassi Vanderpool, Director of Administration, Bedel Financial, and Jordan Nommay, Director of Creative Projects, Sapphire Strategies will serve as the event’s Logistics Chairs.
Stepping Out In Style is the signature fundraiser for Dress for Success Indianapolis, a not-for-profit organization that assists women who are re-entering the workforce with career services including clothing and programs that help women secure and maintain employment. Style for Success is one of the organization’s prominent programs which provides workwear to be utilized by women for job interviews and the workplace. To date, more than 18,000 women have been served through Dress for Success Indianapolis services and programs.
