Fun Facts
- I host a podcast called Caregiving Conversations. It’s close to my heart because it helps caregivers feel seen, supported, and a little less alone.
- My favorite night of the month is “Winyl Night.” It’s a family tradition where we pick a theme, each bring a record, and share wine, dinner, and great music together… and yes, we take the playlist very seriously.
- My love for Indiana basketball began with listening to Pacers games on the radio with my grandpa, and it has stayed with me ever since. I was an extra in Hoosiers, met my husband at a Pacers game, spent years cheering on my boys from the stands, and as a family, we have the best time watching the Fever and the Pacers.
Q & A
“Elevate” is this year’s theme. What does elevate mean to you, and how are you living it out right now?
To me, elevate means continuing to grow while staying grounded in who you are. It doesn’t mean having everything figured out. It is staying curious, keeping showing up, and using your experience to help others when you can. Right now, I’m living that out by saying yes to new opportunities and trying to lead with courage, gratitude, and purpose.
Describe a moment when you stepped into a new level of confidence or growth?
A new level of confidence/growth was when I realized that having an impact doesn’t mean having all the answers. There is so much power in taking a breath, asking thoughtful questions, and moving forward even when you don’t have every answer.
What empowerment advice would you give a woman who’s ready to take her next step?
I would tell her she doesn’t have to feel completely ready to begin. Take the next step and then celebrate the big and small steps along the way. We can spend so much time focusing on how we need to grow, but it’s just as important to recognize the strengths and experiences that have brought you to where you are.
Explain what motivates or grounds you when life or work feels challenging?
I’m grounded by my family and my faith. When things feel challenging, I try to remind myself that I don’t have to solve everything all at once. I come back to what matters most—the people I love, the people I serve, and doing the next right thing with care.
