A day at the spa, a relaxing bath, or simply drinking a cold glass of water first thing in the morning—self-care comes in all shapes and sizes. Self-care is the practice of taking care of your well-being–both mind and body. It means doing things for yourself so that, in turn, you can show up to each part of your life as the best version of yourself.

How do you see the concept of wellness shifting in 2025? Are there specific trends aimed at making wellness more inclusive and accessible for all women?
I see wellness in 2025 shifting towards enriching your life with experiences and personal wellbeing. Women are looking for self-care that is easy to maintain and doesn’t break the bank. Adding more sleep to your routine, drinking more water, using skin and body care free of harsh chemicals; these are all wellness concepts I see trending for 2025.
For women who may feel that self-care is a luxury they can’t afford, what are a few small, low-cost ways to prioritize wellness and recharge in their daily routines?
Small changes to your daily routine can make a big impact on your overall wellness. As soon as you open your eyes, tell yourself a positive affirmation about yourself, set intentions for your day, fuel your body with nutritious food and beverages, and continue these throughout the day and every day.
What advice do you have for women who may feel guilty about taking time for self-care, especially when they’re managing family, work, and other obligations?
As a working mom of two daughters, I understand the guilt of taking time for myself. But, I also understand that my wellness is important to maintain a healthy household. The more wellness you show yourself, the more it will show in your daily routine and health.
For women looking to establish a balanced wellness routine, how can they set boundaries to protect time for themselves without feeling guilty or overwhelmed?
Boundaries are very important to maintain a wellness routine. Create realistic intentions for your schedule and always keep in mind that you should be fluid with your scheduled wellness. If the time you schedule for your wellness comes and goes, make sure to add it to a different time of your day. This way, you can still complete any necessary life tasks and maintain your wellness.
Self-care is a practice, and there’s no one way to perfect it. It can be hard to make time for yourself, but don’t push it to the end of your to-do list. Self-care is never a waste of time. Starting small and finding things you enjoy is a great way to start. If you haven’t heard it yet– treat yourself! You deserve it. How are you going to implement these habits into your life?
