Q & A
“Elevate” is this year’s theme. What does elevate mean to you, and how are you living it out right now?
Elevate means rising above the ordinary, striving for growth, and lifting others along the way. Right now, I’m living it out by staying curious, nurturing my family connections, and seeking every chance to grow personally and professionally.
Describe a moment when you stepped into a new level of confidence or growth?
After losing my sister, brother, mother and father, I was broken, but I pushed through. In that struggle, I stepped into a new confidence—I learned I could keep moving even when I felt weak.
What empowerment advice would you give a woman who’s ready to take her next step?
I would say, trust yourself and start with small, intentional actions. Every step forward counts. Stay connected to your values, seek support when you need it, and remember that your growth is your journey—one step, one day, one moment at a time.
Explain what motivates or grounds you when life or work feels challenging?
When life or work gets difficult, I’m motivated by my faith and my family. They keep me anchored, reminding me of my purpose. Even when things feel heavy, I focus on those connections, and they give me the strength to keep going.
Tell us about any unique skills, talents, or interesting hobbies.
I have a unique blend of talents. I’m a natural connector and I also find so much joy in cooking, fishing, gardening and immersing myself in music. Each one keeps me grounded and inspired.
