Thanks to you, more than 1,000 women have been provided with professional attire, employment resources and support this year. On behalf of them, thank you for believing in them and their dreams.
Dress for Success Indianapolis believes that a self-sufficient woman is an asset to herself, her family, our community and the world. Providing women with the tools, resources, encouragement and confidence needed to become economically independent not only benefits their families, it strengthens our community for future generations.
Meet Pamela. Pamela was an entrepreneur and business woman with her own cleaning business for 25 years. Unfortunately, Pamela’s story involves domestic violence. However, she has deemed herself as one of the lucky ones because she survived. She is a life-long member of the Dress for Success Indianapolis Professional Women’s Group (PWG) and a participant in the financial literacy program. Pamela is currently working both a full-time and part-time position to create a stable and healthy future for her family.
“I survived and am now thriving because of Dress for Success Indianapolis and the Julian Center.”
Every day, your support helps a local woman like Pamela achieve her dreams.
You see, even though we’ve helped over 17,000 women prepare for and secure employment over the last 20 years, we know that there is still a lot of work to do.
That’s why our goal for this campaign is to raise $20,000 by December 31st. If we raise that amount, we’ll be able to provide employment workshops, professional clothing, and support to more local women. We need your help to make it happen. Empowering working women is essential to the future of our community, and your gift makes our work possible.
Would you be willing to make a special year-end donation to help us meet our goal? Gifts can be made online at www.indydfs.org, by texting INDYDFS TO 74121, or by check.
Thank you for your continued support and friendship.
With gratitude,
Julie Petr
